A hint of cinnamon and anise transports us to the warmth of the mulled drinks served during the Christmas time; the aroma of the caramelized pork grilled over the open flame reminds us that particular camping trip that is like no other; and that lemony, herbal, yet refreshing scent of the shampoo feels reminiscent without us being quite able to pinpoint precisely where such occasion was remembered.
Under the traditional “lanterns,” we peer through the scope of time and rediscover the flavor memories that are part of the heritage house which helped shape our childhoods to the ever present time—such as our very first time behind the big screen in the movie theatres, the cornucopia of activities and festivals that helped define our experience of the New Year, the only nostalgic comfort food that is Mom’s cooking, and the thin, slightly al denté noodles in the pork broth served during the elder’s birthdays. In this Art Exhibit Series VI 2020118: Collection, we provide you a chance to relive that memory just like this heritage house has once experienced. Please “taste” to find out those childhood flavors!
